ATS Maintenance and Service
Perhaps one of the most important components of your emergency power system, the automatic transfer switch can be the key to your back-up power supply. Your generator's automatic transfer switch is constantly monitoring the flow of power from your regular source, and upon any number of scenarios, will determine the need to switch to your back-up generator. A functional generator is useless if its back-up power cannot be utilized in an emergency situation.
Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Replacement
Prime Power Services can provide EGSA Certified engineer technicians on site to replace the existing automatic transfer switch with a current model ATS. Replacement is required either due to age of equipment, or with control modernizations requiring additional ATS accessories such as elevator pre-signal contacts.
Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Retrofit
Prime Power Services can provide EGSA Certified engineer technicians on site to "RETROFIT" the existing automatic transfer switch with a new transfer switch contactor and solid-state controller. The existing enclosure, conduits, and wiring will remain in place, thereby reducing downtime and equipment impact, and often at a fraction of the cost of a full ATS replacement! Retrofits are also applicable due to age of equipment, or with control modernizations requiring additional ATS accessories such as elevator pre-signal contacts.
